Improv Spectacular with Alan Marriott

Spotlight Academy is proud to present one of the most talented Improv performers and teachers around, Alan Marriott,
for a special weekend workshop!

A three hour intensive, Saturday, August 15th, from 10 am to 1pm. Ages 14 and up

A (very) brief bio: Alan is a master improviser and teacher of more than 25 years experience in England, Canada, and Europe. A disciple of the famed Keith Johnstone, who’s work and students developed the “Whose Line Is It Anyway” Television improvisation sensation, Alan himself has worked closely with “Whose Line” alumnae, Colin Mochrie and Ryan Styles. As a performer Alan has worked in London’s prestigious West End, and was the Artistic Director of Theatresports London for many years. You have heard his voice on many animated Television series, including Bob the Builder. His students include a who’s who of the British comedy scene, Eddie Izzard being the most known over here. He has also helped many companies think outside of the box as well as inspire generations of performers. He returned to Canada last year, and now runs the Crunchy Frog Collective Improv troupe in North Vancouver. For more details go to his website www.alan-marriott.com
